A Study on the Countermeasure against the Insurance Fraud

Abstract

|
Lately, in Korea the insurance fraud is increasing more and more. In the particular, the scale of insurance fraud in the domestic insurance industry is significantly growing and impacts on the entire society. The purpose of this paper is to present the countermeasure against the insurance fraud, improving and complementing the problems and weaknesses of the existing countermeasures. In order to prevent such insurance fraud all the effort such as insurance company’s countermeasure, the collaborative action of insurance circles, the governments’s legal and institutional guidance and support, and the people’s understanding and cooperation should be made in Korea as in the advanced foreign country such as the United States of America.
